I support the new Kings Residences Affordable Housing proposal to create much needed residential variety with housing opportunities to meet residents’ needs at multiple levels of income. This proposal aligns with the priorities in the current Draft Peabody Housing Production Plan as well as feedback from residents seeking more affordable living options in the City.

This proposal will bring an aesthetic transformation to clean up an eyesore, create jobs and generate significant tax revenue to help promote economic development for years to come. Doing nothing will only cause the site to deteriorate even more.
